Love Island Star's Ex-Fiancé on Run for Attempted Murder

Love Island star Katie Salmon has claimed that her ex-fiancé, Harry, was a gangster who was allegedly on the run for attempted murder before his sudden death in Thailand in 2024.

Ex-Fiancé's Dark Past

Katie, who appeared on the dating show in 2016, announced the death of her ex-fiancé, Harry, in December 2024. The 42-year-old's body was found by a tourist at a pavilion on Cha-am Beach in Thailand. Now, it has been claimed that Harry, whose real name was Anthony Gerard Kelly, had fled after being arrested over a shooting. Two arrest warrants were issued: one for theft and another for attempted murder.

Speaking to The Sun, Katie said her ex was embroiled in a “gangster lifestyle” in the country where he died. She stated: “He was in a really dark place, and he was intoxicating himself a lot over there. He was very traumatised, and he was in a very dark place. He did a lot of dark stuff, and he kind of wanted to keep seeking that, whereas I was really trying to escape that and be a better person.”

Katie's Grief and Legal Issues

The former reality TV star, whose real name is Katie Humphreys, has turned to religion after years on OnlyFans. She announced Harry's death days after his body was found, sharing a photo of him with their daughter Thiaga. She wrote: “Trying to navigate this pain. The highest highs and the lowest lows with you. It's so sad to know you'll never see what a beautiful little girl she is or who she will become. I hope your soul finds peace Harry.”

Last summer, Katie was found guilty of attacking her boyfriend's second girlfriend on a street in Kettering, Northampton, with a hairdryer and a stiletto shoe. She avoided jail time and received a suspended sentence. Breaking her silence in a video, she said: “I have been wanting to come online and do this video for a while now... I felt like today was the right time to do this video so that I can finally move on with my life... There's been many decisions that have led me to this point over the years... Unfortunately, I'm not able to speak on that right now due to legal reasons, and it breaks my heart that I'm labelled as something that I'm not or never have been.”

Concluding her emotional statement, Katie added: “So if you were praying for my downfall I want you to know that this isn't the end of me. This is only the beginning.”
