Gerald from Clarkson's Farm: Health Update and Season 5 Return
Gerald from Clarkson's Farm: Health, Birthday, Season 5

What Happened to Gerald from Clarkson's Farm?

Gerald Cooper continues to be a fan-favourite on the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm. The beloved farmhand, known for his charming nature and hilarious exchanges with Jeremy Clarkson, has been through significant health battles but is now back in action.

Gerald's Health Journey

In the previous season, Gerald revealed he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Thankfully, after successful radiotherapy, he confirmed he was cancer-free and returned to work at Diddly Squat Farm. Fans were later distressed by fake social media reports claiming his health had deteriorated and he had left the series. However, the official Diddly Squat Farm Shop account debunked these rumours by sharing a video of Gerald dancing in the rain. The caption read: "G-Dwag doing his thang, dancin and a laughing." A fan commented: "You know you're really famous when they start making fake news about you, good for you, Gerald." Lisa Hogan, Clarkson's partner, replied directly: "So rough for him and his family though," followed by a 'fuming' emoji.

Celebrating 79th Birthday

In February 2026, Lisa shared a wholesome video of the Diddly Squat team celebrating Gerald's 79th birthday. She wrote: "G-dwag is 79. HAPPY BIRTHDAY from your farm family, you legend of the ROCK." In the clip, Kaleb Cooper applauded Gerald as he blew out candles on his birthday cake, saying: "Thank you, everybody!" Fans flocked to the comments, with one saying: "He's twice my age but I aspire to be just half the person he is. Such a wholesome human being." Lisa replied: "Same!"

Season 5 of Clarkson's Farm

Clarkson's Farm returns with season five on Prime Video on June 3. The new season will see Jeremy Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan, and right-hand man Kaleb Cooper face fresh challenges. Prime Video teased: "Amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly. But while the farm tries to go high-tech - resulting in Kaleb's first ever trip abroad - even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge." It has not been confirmed whether Gerald stars in season five, but fans hope he will appear on-screen in some capacity.
