Jarrod Bowen's Transfer Dilemma Could 'Devastate' Dani Dyer

Jarrod Bowen faces a summer of upheaval that could have a 'devastating' impact on his wife, Dani Dyer, according to a source. The West Ham United forward is at a crossroads after the club's relegation to the Championship, with top clubs including Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur linked with a move.

Bowen, 29, wants to continue playing at the highest level to boost his chances of an England recall ahead of Euro 2028, but leaving West Ham would mean relocating his family. The couple, who married in 2025 and have twin daughters, currently live in Essex, close to Dani's parents. A move to a club outside London would require uprooting the family.

A source told The Sun: 'Jarrod has been heavily linked with a move elsewhere, and he is keen to keep testing himself at the very top. But this could be devastating for Dani, because they might have to relocate.' A switch to a London club like Tottenham would avoid the need to move, but it may not sit well with Dani's father, actor Danny Dyer, a devoted West Ham fan who has seen their rivals stay up at the Hammers' expense.

The source added: 'Danny is absolutely devastated about his side dropping down to the Championship, and it could have major repercussions for the Dyers.' Danny would be 'gutted' if Bowen left, knowing the club's chances of an immediate return to the Premier League would be diminished without the star forward.

Since relegation, Bowen has apologised to fans on Instagram but stopped short of committing his future to the club, where he is under contract until 2030. He wrote: 'It's hard to post something like this when all you’re feeling is embarrassment and pain... We just weren't good enough. Simple as that.' He added: 'One thing I know about this club is that it has the desire and fight to bounce back from this.'
