BBC Presenters Left Blushing After Reading Risqué Email Live on Air

Two BBC presenters were left red-faced and 'lost for words' after reading out a saucy email from a viewer live on air. Peter Levy and Paul Hudson were hosting the morning segment 'Leave It To Levy' on BBC Look North when the incident occurred.

During a chat about Levy's pale suit, Hudson joked that a viewer had emailed asking if Levy was umpiring a cricket match. Levy then attempted to read an actual viewer email but stopped mid-sentence upon realising its suggestive content. The email from 'Ann Yates' read: 'I would love to have Paul face upwards'.

Levy went bright red and burst into laughter, exclaiming 'Hang on, hang on'. Hudson said he was 'lost for words' but cheekily encouraged Levy to continue reading. Levy declined, admitting he had seen the next line and could not proceed. The presenters promised the viewer a coaster as a prize for her humorous email.

Listeners took to social media to praise the moment, with one calling it 'so funny' and another comparing it to classic British comedy. The incident comes nearly a year after Levy revealed he had been scammed out of half his life savings by a fraudster posing as his bank.
