Alix Earle had a friendly reunion with her ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios at the star-studded Sports Illustrated's Miami Race Weekend Kickoff event on Thursday. The 25-year-old media personality, who split from the NFL wide receiver in December 2025, was seen conversing with her ex in videos exclusively obtained by the Daily Mail. An eyewitness also revealed whether there is 'bad blood' between the two stars following their 'difficult' breakup.
Earle was spotted talking to the sports player, 30, inside the crowded venue at Thomas Keller's Surf Club as celebrities arrived to the bash ahead of the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. 'They gave each other a big hug when they saw each other and spoke for about five minutes,' an eyewitness at the party told the Daily Mail. 'The chat was very friendly and both had big smiles on their faces. Neither were with dates,' the source continued, before noting they appeared to be 'on very good terms.'

Earle made an appearance at the event wearing a fitted red minidress that clung to her figure and allowed her blonde locks to flow down past her shoulders in elegant waves. Berrios, who is a wide receiver for the Houston Texans, was stylishly casual in a white shirt. Other A-list stars were in attendance at the kickoff bash including comedian Kevin Hart and Olympic gold medalist Shaun White, who split from ex-fiancee Nina Dobrev in September 2025.
Earle and Berrios's reunion comes four months after they called it quits in December 2025 following two years together. A source had told Us Weekly at the time that the former couple 'mutually agreed on the split.' The pair had celebrated their two-year anniversary on November 11 - but less than a month later, Earle and Berrios have gone their separate ways. 'Majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate,' the insider told the outlet. Leading up to the breakup, Earle had been competing on Dancing With The Stars while Berrios was taking part in the current NFL season.
Aftermath of the Split
After the split news came to light, Earle shared an emotional clip to social media and confirmed the separation. She explained to her fans that 'she hasn't felt like there was a right time to speak on this' but wanted to 'talk from the heart.' 'Part of me just also really wants to be focusing on myself right now, and I just feel like I can't be what Braxton needs,' the star expressed. 'I want him to have someone with him 24-7 who can support him and be there for him. He wasn't really expecting that of me. I think it was more of me, I constantly felt like guilty. I love Braxton, he's my best friend, so it has been very difficult as we're trying to just go forward with this.' Earle added that both she and her ex had simply gone on 'two different paths' before asking that Berrios not receive any hate.
The NFL player came to his own defense after sharing a recent Instagram post he uploaded following the breakup. Some fans had previously called out the sports star for not supporting Earle by attending shows as she competed on Dancing With The Stars. In response to one comment, Berrios explained, 'I would've been at every one if I could've, sadly I can't travel like that in season.' He did travel to Los Angeles back in October 2025 to attend a bash Earle threw for him in celebration of his 30th birthday - but he had done so due to the Texans being on a bye week at the time.
However, a separate source also told the Daily Mail that Berrios had been 'blindsided' by the breakup and that he 'wasn't the one who put it all in motion.' 'He misses her and the most perfect scenario would be to be back with her, but along with the distance, they would have to figure a few things out before entertaining any type of reconciliation.' Just weeks before their reunion on Thursday, Berrios was spotted spending time with model Hollie Ford at the Bird Streets Club in L.A. on April 15, per People. Earle was also previously seen spending time with retired NFL player Tom Brady while ringing in 2026 in St. Barts during a yacht party. In a video obtained by TMZ at the time, the TikTok star was seen dancing next to Brady and then at one point, she leaned in closer to him to whisper something into his ear before gently placing her hand on his back. Another clip captured a moment when the retired NFL player appeared to place his hand around her lower waist. The media personality later labeled the getaway to St. Barts the 'best trip of her life.' Back in January, Earle also admitted to feeling 'lonely' in a tearful video to fans after her split and cozy moment with Brady.
