Social media influencer Braden Peters, widely known as Clavicular, is facing legal repercussions after a livestream showed him shooting at an apparently dead alligator in the Florida Everglades. The incident, which took place around March 26, has led to charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in public.
Charges Filed Weeks After Incident
Peters was charged on April 29, several weeks after the livestream went viral. He is scheduled to appear in Miami-Dade County Court on May 20. Alongside Peters, two other individuals—Andrew Morales and Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres—have also been charged in connection with the event.
Defense Claims No Harm Intended
Peters' legal team argues that he was following instructions from a licensed airboat guide during the incident. They maintain that no animals or people were harmed, and the alligator was already deceased. The defense is expected to present this argument in court.
Recent Controversies Surrounding Peters
This incident is just one in a series of controversies involving the looksmaxxing influencer. In recent months, Peters has been briefly jailed for assault, experienced a suspected overdose while livestreaming, and abruptly walked out of an interview when questioned about his association with Andrew Tate. These events have drawn significant media attention to Peters' activities.
The looksmaxxing community, which focuses on physical appearance enhancement, has distanced itself from Peters' actions. The case highlights the potential legal consequences of reckless behavior in the pursuit of online fame.
