Tom Grennan Pulls Out of Trans Mission Concert After Family Bereavement

Singer Tom Grennan has withdrawn from the Trans Mission concert at London's OVO Arena Wembley just hours before his scheduled performance, citing a family bereavement.

The 30-year-old was due to join Olly Alexander, Beverly Knight, and Adam Lambert at the event, which aimed to raise funds for organisations supporting the transgender community. In an Instagram Stories post, Grennan wrote: 'Due to a family bereavement I will sadly no longer be playing Trans Mission live this evening! I wish everyone involved a successful night.'

The concert was organised by Olly Alexander and Mighty Hoopla as a show of solidarity following the Supreme Court's ruling that men and women must be defined by biological sex. Alexander described it as 'a bold statement of unity and solidarity' against anti-trans voices.
