Celebrities in Dubai Confirm Safety Amid Iranian Military Strikes on UAE
Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan and other British and American celebrities have confirmed they are safe in Dubai as Iranian military strikes continue to target the United Arab Emirates. The attacks, which began on Saturday 28th February 2026, have forced many high-profile visitors and residents to take refuge in basements while being effectively stranded in the country.
Iranian Retaliation Strikes Result in Casualties and Damage
The Iranian strikes represent retaliation for a previous United States and Israeli forces' attack that resulted in the death of Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The military action against the UAE has already caused significant damage, with Dubai International Airport being targeted and a luxury five-star hotel on Palm Jumeirah catching fire after being struck by projectiles. Authorities have confirmed one fatality and multiple injuries resulting from the attacks.
