Love Island star Olivia Attwood has left fans concerned after sharing a heartbreaking post on Valentine's Day. This follows a boozy night out with her best friend Pete Wicks, coming just weeks after she confirmed the end of her marriage to footballer Bradley Dack.
Valentine's Day Alone
The 34-year-old reality television presenter revealed she spent Valentine's Day alone for the first time since she was a teenager. Olivia admitted she needed to "stay busy" to cope with her emotions, sharing a poignant meme that read: 'Forever the girl who needs to stay busy to be okay.'
In her Instagram post, Olivia wrote: "Happy Valentine's Day, my cherubs. I love you all so much x. My first Valentine's without a boyfriend since I was like 14 years old, lol, so I took myself shopping, obvs." The former Love Island contestant indulged in retail therapy to distract herself from the pain of her recent separation.
Night Out with Pete Wicks
Just days before her emotional Valentine's post, Olivia was photographed attending a Garnier launch event at London's Newman Hotel with Pete Wicks. The pair appeared in high spirits despite the freezing temperatures, with Olivia wearing a striking canary-yellow jumpsuit and sheer tights for the occasion.
Notably absent from Olivia's appearance were her wedding and engagement rings, visible symbols of her collapsed marriage. Meanwhile, her soon-to-be ex-husband Bradley Dack was spotted still wearing his wedding band on the same day, despite Olivia's public declaration that their three-year marriage was over.
Marriage Breakdown
Olivia and Bradley Dack's marriage ended after just two years, with Olivia revealing the split was due to a "breach of trust" where Bradley had "crossed a line." Speaking on Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing's Great Company podcast earlier this month, Olivia explained that she and Bradley had become "disconnected" due to their high-pressure careers.
"I just know that a lot of people will relate to the kind of year that Brad and I had," Olivia confessed. "You know, when you have these young married people who have their careers, and they're both high-pressure, and you're doing your thing, it's so easy to become disconnected."
Keeping Busy with Work
Since news of her separation emerged in January, Olivia has reportedly been pouring all her energy into work. The host of ITV's new show The Heat continues to film the next instalment of her documentary series Getting Filthy Rich while maintaining her Olivia's House podcast and KISS FM radio show, which she co-hosts with Pete Wicks.
