Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) delivered an incredible performance at Manchester's Co-op Live on Saturday night, marking his biggest UK show to date with 23,500 tickets sold. The 35-year-old artist, whose real name is Colson Baker, told the crowd: 'Right before I walked on stage, they told me this is the most amount of tickets I have ever sold at a show in the UK.'
The Lost Americana tour stop featured support act Julia Wolf and a setlist blending tracks from MGK's latest album with older hits. Highlights included emotional moments such as a performance of 'play this when i'm gone', dedicated to his teenage daughter Casie, and a cover of Oasis's 'Don't Look Back In Anger' that left many fans in tears.
MGK also paid tribute to The Beatles with a rendition of 'Hey Jude', bringing the audience together in a display of unity. The evening balanced emotion with humour, including a penis-shaped charcuterie board requested by the artist.
Despite the large venue—the biggest indoor concert venue in Europe—the atmosphere felt intimate, with fans singing along to favourites like 'I Think I'm OKAY', 'Bloody Valentine', and 'my ex's best friend'. The show earned a five-star review from attendees.
