In a surprising twist on ITV's popular entertainment show, The Masked Singer, JLS star Marvin Humes has been revealed as the celebrity behind the Can of Worms costume. The unmasking occurred during a dramatic double elimination episode, which also saw adventurer and presenter Ben Fogle booted from the competition, meaning both have now missed out on a place in next week's grand final.
Shock Exit in Double Elimination
Marvin Humes, best known as one quarter of the chart-topping boyband JLS, had been competing in the hit series where celebrities perform in elaborate disguises while a panel of judges attempts to guess their identities. The panel, consisting of Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, and Mo Gilligan, were left speculating until the final moments.
Earlier in the episode, Humes performed a disco classic, Cha Cha Slide, followed by a rendition of John Legend's Ordinary People. Following his unmasking, he explained to host Joel Dommett, "It's the most bizarre show, I just sang what I sing to the kids at home, basically."

Expressing his happiness at reaching the later stages of the competition, Humes said, "I'm so happy to have got this far. I am not a natural-born singer, but it has been so joyous." He continued, "But you reach a point in life where you can't take yourself too seriously and I've done this for everyone out there who has an inner Sloth and wants to leap out." Humes is married to fellow pop star and presenter Rochelle Humes, adding to his profile in the entertainment industry.

With Humes and Fogle now eliminated, the competition narrows down to three remaining contestants: Moth, Toastie, and Conkers.
