Kremlin Issues Stark Warning Over Potential World War Three Trigger
The Kremlin has delivered a chilling warning that World War Three could erupt at any moment if former US President Donald Trump continues what it describes as his 'insane course' of foreign policy. This grave alert comes from Dmitry Medvedev, a close ally of Vladimir Putin and former Russian president, who has painted a dire picture of global consequences.
Medvedev's Dire Nuclear Comparison
Medvedev, who served as Russia's president from 2008 to 2012, claimed that any new global conflict would make the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki appear like 'child's play' in comparison. He asserted that Trump has committed a 'gross mistake' through military actions against Iran, warning that continuing this path of 'criminal regime change' would undoubtedly spark all-out war.
'This is a war of the US and its allies for maintaining global dominance,' Medvedev declared. 'The pigs don't want to part with the trough.'
Trigger Events and Immediate Threats
When questioned whether World War Three had already begun, Medvedev responded: 'Formally, no, but if Trump continues his insane course of criminal regime change, it will undoubtedly begin. And any event could be the trigger. Any event.'
The former Russian leader, who now serves as Putin's deputy on the Russian security council, offered scathing criticism of Western leadership: 'There's no magic cure for the actions of hardcore idiots and clinical bastards. There's only one guarantee: the USA is afraid of Russia and knows the price of a nuclear conflict.'
Iranian Response and Nuclear Proliferation Concerns
Medvedev told state news agency TASS that American and Israeli citizens now face increased vulnerability following military operations against Iran. 'I think their vulnerability has significantly increased,' he stated, noting that while Iran hasn't responded with maximum force yet, 'they know how to wait, this is an ancient civilisation.'
The Russian official warned that Trump's actions have placed all Americans under potential attack and predicted serious consequences: 'And now there's no doubt that Iran will strive with redoubled energy to acquire nuclear weapons.' He emphasized that the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei served as spiritual father to nearly 300 million Shiites, making him a martyr whose death would galvanize resistance.
European Reactions and Moscow's Priorities
Regarding European responses to the escalating situation, Medvedev expressed contempt: 'Flattery and disgust. European vassals are licking their lips and delighting in receiving a portion of American-Israeli 'yellow dew' right in the eyes.'
He clarified that negotiations concerning Ukraine remain secondary for Moscow, with winning the war representing the most crucial objective. This statement comes just days after the fourth anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
Putin's Condemnation and International Alliances
Russian President Vladimir Putin separately condemned the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as a 'cynical violation' of international law. In a message to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Putin expressed condolences for the Supreme Leader's death, which occurred during joint US-Israeli strikes on Khamenei's Tehran residence that also killed multiple family members.
Putin described the attack as lacking 'human morality,' with his comments arriving as China and North Korea joined Russia in what observers describe as an 'axis of evil' chorus of condemnation against Western actions.
Medvedev concluded with a historical perspective on Iran's resilience: 'I've already said that Iran, as the heir to the former Persian Empire, is an ancient world and culture. They will cope, but the price of revival will be high. It requires a high level of societal consolidation. And the Americans have provided such consolidation.'
