Gemma Collins Fights Tears on I'm A Celebrity Before Sinitta's Brutal Putdown
Gemma Collins Emotional on I'm A Celebrity, Sinitta's Jibe

In a poignant moment on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, Gemma Collins fought back tears as she opened up to campmate Craig Charles, only to later face a brutal putdown from Sinitta. The TOWIE legend, 45, and Red Dwarf star Craig, 61, entered the All Stars series as late arrivals, reuniting with fellow celebrities in tonight's episode (April 9).

Emotional Confession in Camp

After arriving at the basic Savannah Scrub camp, Gemma pulled Craig aside for a tearful confession, having previously appeared with him in the 2014 series. She admitted, 'No one else knows me here and I don't want them to think I'm weak.' Craig reassured her, saying, 'You're going to fit right in, just be yourself.' This emotional exchange highlighted Gemma's vulnerability as she navigated the intense camp environment.

Sinitta's Surprising Putdown

Later, Gemma received a surprising putdown from new campmate Sinitta, 62. Sinitta questioned her about a past theatre role, asking, 'But what happened with Chicago? You were supposed to follow me as Mama Morton.' Gemma explained, 'I had a terrible injury… it was something to do with the insurance.' Sinitta continued bluntly, 'I'm sorry, but I'm going to admit it, when I heard you were going to do it, I thought it was a joke announcement.'

She added, 'I think you'd just presented something at an awards show and fell off the stage. It was like you were more of a comedian.' The awkward moment left other campmates, like Scarlett, wide-eyed and hiding in her hammock, mouthing to Seann, 'What is happening?' This interaction underscored the tense dynamics within the camp.

Wedding Plans Revealed

In a separate revelation, Gemma disclosed her plans to marry her partner, Rami Hawash, 50, four times to her stunned campmates on Wednesday's episode. She explained that they got engaged for a third time in February 2024 and will tie the knot someday, though the timing is uncertain. Gemma confessed she wants an 'earthy, woody ceremony' and likes the idea of getting married in Taormina, Sicily, but noted Rami's family are from abroad.

She also mentioned considering a wedding at Claridge's in London. When Adam Thomas joked, 'So you could have four weddings?' Gemma replied, 'I don't know otherwise how I am going to make it all work!' In the Bush Telegraph, Adam remarked, 'Only Gemma Collins could get married four times to the same guy and I’m here for it.'

Relationship History

Gemma and Rami originally started dating in 2011. They first got engaged in 2013 but split a year later. After separating from ex James Argent, Gemma reunited with Rami in 2020. The couple got engaged for a second time in 2021, and on Valentine's Day 2024, Rami proposed for a third time. Gemma has been open about wanting to start a family, though she is already stepmum to Rami's seven-year-old son, Tristan.

Back in January, the Diva Forever star confirmed their family plans on Instagram, telling followers, 'The most fantastic NYE with our faves it was the final drink of champagne as I have a wedding to plan!! Yes I’m getting married this year and YES I'm having a baby.' This announcement adds to the ongoing drama and personal revelations in the series.
