Celebs Go Dating is set to air an 'outrageous' first date that left one contestant completely bewildered. The E4 dating show returns next Monday, May 4th, with a fresh batch of celebrities entrusting their love lives to a panel of experts.
New Season, Unforgettable First Date
Relationship guru Paul C. Brunson is back on the advice panel, joined by therapist Anna Williamson and sexual communication specialist Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn. This season welcomes MAFS bride Lucinda Light, rugby star James Haskell, Loose Women's Coleen Nolan, Love Island alum Gabby Allen, rapper Professor Green, content creator PK Humble, and TV personality David Potts to the exclusive dating agency.
With just days until the premiere, former Love Island star Gabby Allen has teased a bizarre first date that left her baffled. Speaking to Channel 4, she recalled: 'I cannot wait for the first episode to come out when my first date walks into the bar holding a goldfish and I was like, Is this actually happening to me right now?'
Outrageous Flirting Attempt
Gabby elaborated: 'I won't spoil it because people need to watch it, but he said some outrageous stuff, which left me literally like, I can't believe that this is happening. It was outrageous in a way I think he was trying to flirt with me.' She added: 'Some of the stuff he was saying. I was like, This is doing the absolute opposite.'
Despite the odd approach, Gabby praised her date: 'But you know what, I have to give it to him, he was absolutely hilarious and his goldfish broke the ice! He definitely settled me into the agency. I think the agents have done really well because all the guys that I've met have been lovely and I feel like they will make great partners for different people. It's just about finding who's right for you.'
From Love Island to Celebs Go Dating
The 34-year-old reality star is no stranger to finding love on television, having appeared on Love Island, Love Island: All Stars, and Love Island Games. Although she thrived on the ITV shows, Gabby confessed that Celebs Go Dating has been a more 'intimate' journey.
Celebs Go Dating starts on E4 next Monday, May 4 at 9pm.
