Social media comedian Druski, real name Drew Desbordes, has sparked controversy with his latest parody video titled 'How Conservative Women in America act.' The 31-year-old influencer, known for provocative content, wore prosthetics and makeup to portray a white woman in a series of skits, including a mock press conference about the war in Iran and a pilates class.
The video has drawn criticism from users who believe it mocks Erika Kirk, whose husband Charlie Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated last year. One X user wrote: 'This is too far... you're mocking a widow who had her husband assassinated in front of the world.' Another compared the reaction to if a white comedian parodied Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris.
Despite the backlash, many fans defended the skit, praising Druski's makeup and costume design. One fan commented: 'Druski's makeup and costume design team is truly UNDEFEATED!' The top comment on YouTube anticipated the controversy, reading: 'They not gon like this one.'
Druski previously went viral in September with a similar video where he dressed as a white NASCAR fan, titled 'Guy who is just proud to be an American.'
