Dani Dyer was left utterly mortified by her father's crude comments regarding his relationship with her mother during a recent filming session for their Sky television show. The EastEnders star, Danny Dyer, made an awkward sex joke about time spent with his wife Joanne, much to the disgust of their daughter.
Awkward Family Moment on Sky's The Dyers' Caravan Park
The dad-and-daughter duo were featuring on the latest episode of Sky's The Dyers' Caravan Park, a programme which sees them invest in and run a UK holiday caravan park. However, it was one particular scene that left former Love Island star Dani, aged 29, visibly squirming and uncomfortable.
Crude Joke Sparks Horror Reaction
The clip, which was shared on Sky's official Instagram page, showed the family members working together at the reception area of the venue. When Dani asked her dad if he had finished his coffee, he replied: "Yeah, I sucked that right off. Now I want a Moretti." As Dani cleaned the cup, she told her dad: "I love you, but I don’t want moustache germs on there."
With a quick and crude clap back, Danny, aged 48, said: "What, in my moustache? The only thing in my moustache is your mother." Dani was clearly horrified by her dad's comments and scrunched her face up in a reaction of pure disgust. Captioning the clip, Sky commented: "The unique trauma of Danny Dyer as your father."
Fan Reactions and Amusement
Fans of the pair were loving the interaction and took to the comments section online to share their amusement and laughter. One user gushed: "He's class, what great show," while another wrote: "Bloody brilliant telly love them all." A third fan said: "Not going to lie, the moustache joke caught me so off guard that I had to pause the show to cry laugh for a good 10 minutes."
Close Bond Between Father and Daughter
Danny and Dani share a close bond and often share snippets of their life with their loyal fans. Earlier this month, the actor admitted he is so taken with his daughter’s husband, West Ham footballer Jarod Bowen, that he asked him for the first dance at their wedding. The duo tied the knot last May, with Danny more than happy to welcome the captain of his beloved football club to the family.
He told the Mirror: "I did ask him for the first dance at the wedding. It did not go down well. I have had a few t**ts come through my door and you do have to wear it. I can’t tell my daughter who to fall in love with, but the best present she could have given me was the captain of West Ham. So it was a beautiful day!"
