A man diagnosed with prostate cancer, similar to Jeremy Clarkson, is urging everyone to get checked. Jeremy Clarkson recently announced his prostate cancer diagnosis on Clarkson's Farm, raising awareness. Anthony Bradden, 37, also shares his story to encourage early detection.
Jeremy Clarkson's Diagnosis
In an emotional episode of Clarkson's Farm, the 66-year-old revealed his diagnosis, saying: 'I had a medical... and it is cancer, and it's aggressive, but it's really early.' He spoke from a hospital bed, expressing hope for season six if treatment succeeds.
Anthony Bradden's Experience
Anthony Bradden, 37, never thought he would get prostate cancer at such a young age. In January 2025, he went for a male health check. His PSA level was 2.74, indicating a potential issue. Despite no symptoms, he had a family history—his father was diagnosed at 49 and successfully treated.
After further tests, Anthony was diagnosed. He feels fine but wants others to get checked. 'It's certainly not just an older man's disease,' he warns.
NHS Advice on Prostate Cancer
The NHS states that prostate cancer often has no early symptoms. Regular check-ups are crucial. Symptoms may include difficulty peeing, weak urine flow, urgency, or blood in urine or semen. Advanced symptoms can include lower back pain and weight loss.
Men over 40 with a faulty BRCA2 gene or those worried about risk should see their GP. A PSA blood test can detect problems even without symptoms.
