Baroness Karren Brady has been open about how becoming a grandmother sparked her desire to stay fit and healthy. Alongside losing weight through a healthy diet and lifestyle, she also takes good care of her skin and body with regular visits to an exclusive London salon.
The Apprentice star has been treated at Knightsbridge-based Rakus Clinic for 15 years, trying everything from facials to body contouring treatments. Dr Rakus explains that one of the key treatments Karren has embraced is non-thermal laser therapy, which uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate the cells, particularly the mitochondria, helping the body repair and regenerate.
Dr Rakus says: 'This treatment helps recharge the cells, allowing the body to work more optimally again. It is completely non-invasive – there’s no heat, no damage, and no downtime – yet it can have a profound effect on both appearance and wellbeing.'
Karren's beauty journey began with multi-step facials, such as Hydrafacials, which deeply cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate the skin. She also uses Sofwave to treat the arm area and face, a non-invasive technology that uses ultrasound to stimulate collagen and elastin production. More recently, she has been having Emerald Laser Reset treatments for non-invasive fat reduction and cellular wellness.
