Clarkson Rushed to Hospital After Cancer Treatment 'Awry'

Jeremy Clarkson has been rushed to hospital after admitting his cancer treatment went 'awry' in the final moments of Clarkson's Farm season five. The 66-year-old presenter revealed he had prostate cancer earlier in the series, leaving co-stars Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland visibly distraught.

Season Five Finale Details

In episode eight, Clarkson attempted to focus on positives during the annual picnic at Diddly Squat farm, despite health challenges and animal losses. When Kaleb asked when they would know if treatment worked, Clarkson replied: 'I don't know, I've got a blood test but not for another few weeks... It probably did work.'

After receiving a shocking update about TB on the farm, Clarkson said: 'Well, things can't get worse,' before the screen cut to black with text '4 days later.' An ambulance then appeared with blue lights, and Clarkson was seen in a hospital bed with a 'nil by mouth' sign.

Clarkson's Statement

Clarkson said: 'We started season five with me in a hospital bed, and here we are at the end... Some of the treatment's gone a bit awry. I'm going to be here for a little while. I'm nil by mouth, I don't know what's going to happen. If this is all successful I'll see you for season six and if it isn't, I won't. Take care, everyone.'

Viewers are keen to understand what 'awry' means, suggesting treatment did not go as expected. Clarkson has not yet provided an update following the season five release. Clarkson's Farm season 5 is streaming on Prime Video.
