Princess Andre Opens Up About Mental Health Struggles Amid Parents' Feud

Princess Andre, now 18 and starring in her own ITV show The Princess Diaries, has spoken candidly about the toll her parents' acrimonious divorce has taken on her mental health. In a recent episode, she revealed that she experienced things 'kids shouldn't see' and has been attending therapy since her childhood.

The reality star said she wishes she could have had a 'happier childhood', adding: 'I had so many things on my plate at a young age.' Princess explained that she finds it difficult to talk openly, so she writes down her feelings in notes on her phone. She continues to see a counsellor periodically.

Her comments come amid a fresh war of words between her parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price. Peter, 52, issued a lengthy statement on Instagram accusing Katie of making 'repeated lies' over the past 16 years. He revealed that their children, Junior and Princess, came into his care in 2018 and that a family court order was issued in 2019 to enforce the arrangement.

Katie's team responded, saying: 'Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.' The former couple's feud has overshadowed the launch of Princess's documentary series, which focuses largely on her life with her father.

Princess has previously acknowledged that her parents' separation was difficult, but she has also spoken about the positive aspects of her upbringing. However, she admitted that the ongoing conflict between Peter and Katie makes her situation harder.
