Molly-Mae Hague Breaks Down Over Daughter Bambi's 'Constant Tantrum' Weekend
Molly-Mae Hague in tears over toddler Bambi's tantrums

Influencer and TV personality Molly-Mae Hague has offered a raw and honest glimpse into the challenges of motherhood, confessing she was reduced to tears after a weekend of dealing with her two-year-old daughter's relentless tantrums.

The Toddler Trials

The 26-year-old, who shares her daughter Bambi with boyfriend Tommy Fury, took to social media to share her experience, describing how her toddler's behaviour had 'humbled' her. Despite later posting a sweet photograph of herself kissing and cuddling Bambi at a coffee shop, Molly-Mae revealed the idyllic snapshot belied a difficult reality.

She wrote candidly about the emotional rollercoaster, stating: 'Toddler: 1, Mummy: 0. Parenthood summed up... an hour before this pic I was in tears a full weekend of basically one constant tantrum.... And then one cute moment makes you forget it all.'

The Love Island star, who met Tommy on the hit ITV show in 2019, admitted she had perhaps become 'cocky' after feeling they had turned a corner, only for the weekend to bring her back down to earth. 'She certainly put mum and dad through their paces this weekend,' Molly-Mae confessed to her 8.5 million followers.

Reflections on Young Motherhood

This is not the first time Molly-Mae has been open about the realities of parenting. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, she reflected on becoming a mother in her early twenties, admitting that while she has no regrets, she might have done things differently.

'I felt like I’d lived so much life by 23, I felt really ready for a new chapter,' she explained. 'Tommy and I were in an incredible place, and to have something that was half him, half me, just felt really special. I’ve never had any regrets about starting a family young, but if I could go back and maybe go again, would I have waited a few more years? Potentially.'

The conversation also turned to the prospect of expanding their family. Molly-Mae revealed she feels a 'real pressure' to give Bambi a sibling, inspired by her own close bond with her sister, Zoe. However, she was firm in stating that any decision for a second child would be because it is 'something I want to do', not solely for Bambi's benefit.

From Newborn Struggles to Toddler Triumphs

Despite the challenges of the 'terrible twos', Molly-Mae shared that she far prefers the toddler stage to the newborn phase. 'I would take a toddler over a newborn any day,' she declared, praising the improved communication, shared laughter, and greater understanding that comes with this age.

She described her daughter as a determined individual with strong preferences, who sometimes 'loves to push the buttons'. Yet, Molly-Mae says she admires this strong-willed nature, seeing it as a sign that Bambi is 'strong' and 'knows her mind'.

This latest parenting confession comes after a previous viral moment where Molly-Mae was mum-shamed after a clip showed Bambi 'plotting' to bite her nursery friends, Emily and Dory. The incident even inspired a humorous social media post featuring personalised Heinz baked beans tins for the three children, which sent fans into hysterics.

Through the tantrums and the laughter, Molly-Mae Hague continues to document her family's journey from their new £5 million Victorian mansion, proving that even for a glamorous influencer, the realities of raising a toddler are universally humbling.
