Lucas Till announces second baby with wife Skyler Samuels

Hollywood actor Lucas Till and his wife, actress Skyler Samuels, have shared joyous news, announcing they are expecting their second child together. The couple made the reveal on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Till's new Netflix series, The Abandons, on Wednesday.

A Red Carpet Announcement

The 35-year-old Till, best known for roles in MacGyver and the X-Men films, looked dapper in a classic black suit. Samuels, a star of Scream Queens, beamed with a cheerful smile, showcasing her growing baby bump in a elegant, long-sleeved navy dress. In affectionate photos from the event, Till was seen gently resting his hand on his wife's stomach.

Samuels later took to her main Instagram page to post a picture from the night, captioning it, 'Mom and dad's night out celebrating my handsome hubby in his new western for @netflix @theabandonsnetflix….season 1 is streaming now and it's stellar!'

From Co-Stars to Growing Family

The pair first met in 2017 while working on the series The Gifted. Samuels previously revealed on the Wizards Of Waverly Pod podcast that their romance was a slow burn. 'For the first three years that we had known each other, he was like really shy, and I couldn't get a read,' she said. They reconnected in 2021, after which she decided to make the first move, leading to their relationship.

Their first child was welcomed in April of last year, with Samuels sharing the news as part of a Mother's Day campaign for Charles & Colvard jewellery. Reflecting on parenthood to OK! Magazine, she called it 'the best job I've ever had' and emphasised that raising a child 'definitely takes a village.'

Till's Career and Past Romance

Lucas Till's career includes a notable, brief romance with global superstar Taylor Swift in 2009, after they met on the set of her 'You Belong With Me' music video, where he played her love interest. Speaking to MTV at the time, he described the relationship as friendly, stating, 'We dated for a little bit. But there was no friction because we were too nice.'

His acting portfolio is diverse, spanning from the X-Men franchise, where he played Havok, to the lead role in the rebooted MacGyver series from 2016 to 2021. His latest project is the Netflix Western drama The Abandons, where he plays Garret Van Ness alongside stars like Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey. The seven-episode series, which follows families defending their land, began streaming on December 4.
