Strictly Executive Producer Praises New Hosts' Bonding Ahead of Debut

Sarah James, the executive producer of Strictly Come Dancing for BBC Studios, has publicly praised the new hosting trio—Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe, and Johannes Radebe—after they were seen together supporting Radebe in his West End role. The group attended the musical Kinky Boots, where Radebe plays drag queen Lola.

Josh Widdicombe shared photos on Instagram of the outing, captioning them: 'Incredible evening watching @johannesradebe absolutely smash the West End in Kinky Boots. Emma and I a bit too in love with him in the second pic.' Sarah James replied: 'Love this so much [heart emoji].'

The trio were announced as the new hosts of Strictly Come Dancing in May, replacing Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman after their departure at the end of the 2025 series. Daly had presented the show since its launch in 2004, initially alongside the late Sir Bruce Forsyth, while Winkleman joined the main show in 2014.
