GB News interrupted its breakfast show on Monday morning to announce that Yorkshire Wildlife Park will remain closed for the entire day as investigations continue into the death of a man mauled by a tiger.
On Saturday, October 10, a man at the Doncaster zoo entered the tiger enclosure and was attacked by the animal. Emergency services were called shortly after 1.30pm. South Yorkshire Police later confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene and that his family had been informed.
Park closure extended
The wildlife park had previously been expected to reopen on Monday, October 12, after being evacuated over the weekend. However, in a fresh update issued by GB News, it was reported that the park will stay closed for the entirety of today.
Breakfast hosts Ellie Costello and Cameron Walker halted the programme to deliver the update on air.

GB News also posted on X: "BREAKING: Yorkshire Wildlife Park reports it will remain closed for the entirety of today, as investigations continue into the death of a man mauled by a tiger when he entered its enclosure."
