A routine hunting trip in the picturesque Ozark National Forest turned into a fight for survival when a 350-pound black bear launched a sudden, vicious attack on a local hunter.
The terrifying encounter occurred near the town of Dover, Arkansas, when the unidentified man found himself ambushed by the massive bear. According to officials from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the attack was swift and brutal.
The Moment of Attack
"The bear came out of nowhere and just started mauling him," reported a spokesperson for the emergency services. The hunter was completely taken by surprise, with no time to react before the animal was upon him.
