Emirates has created a unique Arsenal club crest from used aircraft parts to celebrate 20 years of partnership with the club. The 2.4-metre-high sculpture, named the Aircrafted Arsenal Crest, was unveiled at Emirates Stadium ahead of a match against Borussia Dortmund.
Upcycled Aircraft Components
The crest uses 84 components upcycled from Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Emirates Engineering in Dubai crafted it, then flew it to London. Arsenal's cannon, featured in every emblem since 1905 and inspiring the nickname The Gunners, is formed from an A380 wheel hub and a titanium air duct.
Sheets of 777 aluminium fuselage skin make up the shield's face, with cargo tracks forming its outer edge and internal structure. Arsenal lettering was shaped from aircraft windows. A team of 15 engineers, designers, mechanics, and painters took 34 days to assemble.
Celebrating Partnership
Arsenal stated the project merges aviation engineering precision with elite sport discipline. The partnership with Emirates extends to 2033. Sir Tim Clark, Emirates Airline president, and Richard Garlick, Arsenal chief executive, unveiled the crest.
Sir Tim said: "Emirates and Arsenal have shared an extraordinary journey over the past 20 years. We have watched the club evolve, welcomed new generations of supporters and celebrated many defining moments together."

Permanent Display
The Aircrafted Arsenal Crest will be permanently displayed in Emirates' hospitality space at Emirates Stadium. The Crest stands as a powerful reflection of our relationship and everything we've achieved together along the way."
