Ness Gallagher raises £4,621 for St Andrew's Hospice

£4,621 raised through Make A Will Month

Ness Gallagher Solicitors has raised £4,621 for St Andrew's Hospice through its participation in this year's Make A Will Month campaign. The initiative, held each March, sees the firm prepare basic Wills for clients in exchange for a voluntary donation to the Airdrie hospice instead of a standard legal fee.

Ness Gallagher, a Lanarkshire law firm with offices in Wishaw and Lanark, has supported the campaign for 13 consecutive years, helping raise over £20,000 in total for the hospice's specialist palliative care services.

'Proud to support'

Edward McCarron, director at Ness Gallagher Solicitors, said: "Make A Will Month is something we are always proud to support. St Andrew’s Hospice provides incredible care and support to individuals and families across Lanarkshire, and we are delighted to have helped raise almost £5000 for such an important local charity this year."

He added: "As a firm rooted in the local community, giving something back is hugely important to us. We would also encourage people to think seriously about keeping their Will up to date. Having a valid and current Will in place gives clarity and peace of mind for loved ones, particularly as family and financial circumstances change over time."

Hospice thanks supporters

St Andrew’s Hospice relies heavily on fundraising and community support to continue its services across Lanarkshire. Lorna Leslie, trusts, legacy, and individual giving manager at the hospice, said: "We are incredibly grateful to Ness Gallagher for their continued support over the past 13 years. Their generosity and dedication help us to provide essential care to those who need it most. Every donation made through Make A Will Month directly benefits our patients and their families."
