Liz Earle has brought back its limited-edition Orange Flower Collection, and fans are snapping up the five-piece set, which includes a body cream that mature shoppers are calling the 'best body cream' for older dry skin. The collection, worth £89, is priced at £49, saving customers £40.
What's in the collection
The set comes in a travel-friendly wash bag and includes the Orange Flower Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser (200ml), Orange Flower Hand Repair (50ml), Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash (200ml), Orange Flower Botanical Body Cream (200ml), and a Pure Cotton Cloth. The scent, featuring notes of orange, lavender, geranium, rosemary, tonka bean, and patchouli, is described by users as 'relaxing' and so strong it 'leaks through the whole house'.
Body cream praised by older shoppers
The Orange Flower Botanical Body Cream, usually £22 but £12.25 as part of the deal, contains shea butter and essential oils. One shopper over 65 said: "This is the best body cream I have ever used. It clears up and then prevents the return of rough skin on elbows. Pleasant light aroma, excellent texture." Another aged 55-64 added: "Gorgeous cream. Moisturises well and the scent is like being at a spa."
However, fragrance preferences vary, as one reviewer noted: "I bought this as a gift didn’t like the smell at all." Despite that, many praise it for dry, aging skin, with one calling it "the best body cream in the world" and noting it's been a must-have since first trying it.
Alternatives and full routine
For those who prefer a cozier scent, L'Occitane's Neroli Orchidee Perfumed Body Lotion costs £29 for 250ml, while Space NK's Saltair Santal Bloom Body Butter is £23. The Liz Earle collection also includes the full-size body wash and hand repair, creating a complete pampering routine. One long-time user of the body wash said: "I have used this for over 25 years and cannot recommend it highly enough."
