KFC fans are eagerly anticipating the fast food chain's latest limited edition menu, launched on July 20. The new offerings include Tandoori Loaded Fries, two varieties of Crispy Naans, and iced matcha drinks in Strawberry Shortcake and Vanilla flavors. The menu is available until August 23.
Tandoori-Inspired Sides and Drinks
Despite the summer heat, KFC has adopted an Indian theme for its new side dish. The Tandoori Loaded Fries are described as "Our Signature Fries with Popcorn Chicken, smothered with a creamy yoghurt and shallot sauce and a vibrant Tandoori sauce, topped with crispy onion." For beverages, customers can choose between two iced matcha flavors.
Crispy Naans Take Center Stage
The highlight of the menu is the Crispy Naan range, available as standalone items, main meals, or box meals. Diners can select the Creamy Original or the spicier Tandoori Zinger. KFC boasts: "Get ready for a brand-new format that’s taking KFC by storm! Introducing our Crispy Naan range, packed full of tandoori-inspired flavours and fresh ingredients. Choose between two sensational options: the spicy Tandoori Zinger Crispy Naan with its vibrant Tandoori sauce, or the non-spicy Creamy Original Crispy Naan with a tangy yoghurt and shallot sauce. This isn't just new; it's a taste adventure inspired by the best street food, delivered straight to you!"
The Crispy Naan features two light, fluffy naan breads filled with fresh tomato, red onion, and lettuce, topped with either a crispy Original Recipe or spicy Zinger fillet, a slice of cheese, and finished with either a creamy yoghurt and shallot sauce or a vibrant Tandoori sauce.
Tandoori Dipping Feast and Social Media Buzz
Completing the menu is the Tandoori Dipping Feast, which includes 10 or 14 Tenders, two Tandoori Loaded Fries, two Regular Signature Fries, two large sides, a choice of two original dips, and a large bottle of drink. New Foods UK showcased the offerings on social media, prompting reactions such as "Now these look banging" and "These look good," with one fan simply writing "OMG."
Rival's UK Arrival
The new menu comes as KFC's US rival Raising Cane's confirmed it will open its flagship UK restaurant in late 2026. The Louisiana-based chicken finger chain announced its expansion after overwhelming demand from British supporters on social media, with branded hoardings already up at the launch site.
