A waterfall in County Durham has been included in a visually striking stamp collection by Royal Mail. The stamps feature photography of 10 spectacular waterfalls, capturing the power and beauty of the most dramatic natural landscapes across the British Isles.

David Gold, Royal Mail’s director of external affairs and policy, said: 'The British Isles are rich in natural beauty and these stamps highlight some of the UK’s most striking waterfalls in all four nations. They showcase the richness of our natural environment which has been shaped by water over thousands of years.'

- Pistyll Rhaeadr, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys, Wales
- Rhaeadr y Graig Lwyd (Conwy Falls), Bro Garmon, Conwy County Borough, Wales
- Fairy Pools of Glen Brittle, Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye
- Ess na Larach, Glenariff Forest Park, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
- Hardraw Force, Wensleydale, Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire
- Pollnagollum Cave, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland
- Rogie Falls, Ross-shire, Highlands of Scotland
