The float sailed down one of Amsterdam's canals during the Pride Canal Parade, with the two figures shown leaning in for a kiss while holding flowers behind their backs.
Putin was depicted in overalls, while Trump wore a dress, as onlookers danced to electronic dance music and waved signs about love.
The figures were dressed in Delft blue and white costumes and each clutched a tulip, designed in the style of pottery figurines commonly found in Dutch souvenir shops.
A message of love
The group that created the boat said on its website that they re-imagined the symbol of love and unity "not to provoke, but to pause power for a moment and highlight something human."
Not the first time
This is not the first time the pair have been accused of having a secret relationship. Comedian Rosie O'Donnell has made several claims that Trump works for Putin, and last year branded him a Russian "asset," "spy," and a "traitor" to America.
