Holly Willoughby is set to launch a new YouTube show, three years after exiting ITV's This Morning. The 45-year-old former television presenter teased her comeback on Instagram, announcing the channel named Holly Willoughby Together, which will debut at the end of July 2026.
New Venture on YouTube
Willoughby posted a picture with a pink background and the show's name in red fonts, captioned "Coming soon..." The new Instagram page for the YouTube channel states, "We are almost ready to get together… @hollywilloughby," with a link to the channel. The show is described as a This Morning-style format, reflecting her decades of experience in daytime television.
Industry Insights
An insider and friend of Willoughby told The Mail on Sunday: "Holly has done television for 25 years, and now she wants to make her own thing. And now daytime television is very much on the slide and it's time for something new." They added: "She is excited, it is something so new and innovative, hopefully it will work. The television landscape has changed so much, people are consuming content on TikTok and other digital platforms. Holly has seen an opportunity now to start something new, which has a future, unlike the kind of stuff she has done in the past."
Support from Colleagues and Fans
Former This Morning colleague Alison Hammond commented, "This is everything," while Alice Beer wrote, "Exciting Holly! Go girl!" Fans also expressed enthusiasm, with one saying, "Can't wait to see more, have missed your laughter and happy personality."
Background and Future Prospects
Willoughby's departure from This Morning followed the exit of co-host Phillip Schofield, who admitted to an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a young male colleague. She continued presenting ITV's Dancing on Ice until March 2025, when the show was "rested." Since then, she has worked with her husband Dan Baldwin's production company Hungry Bear, producing shows like Gladiators and Michael McIntyre's Big Show. In 2024, she presented the Netflix reality show Celebrity Bear Hunt.
According to the Mirror, another insider believes the YouTube show is her "pathway to getting back on actual TV." They said: "This is her way of reminding the top TV executives how good she is, how well-connected she is, how great she is as a presenter and why ITV bosses should look at her. Now all three of her shows have been dropped, this is Holly's only option and she's got to make it work."
