Andy Whyment gives daughter tour of Corrie set

Coronation Street actor Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the ITV soap, has delighted fans by sharing a TikTok video of him giving his real-life daughter, Hollie, a tour of the show's set. The video, posted on his account @andy.whyment7, shows Hollie experiencing various departments and iconic locations.

Behind-the-scenes tour for work experience

Hollie joined her father at the Coronation Street set for work experience. The tour included visits to the wardrobe department, hair and makeup rooms, dressing rooms, and famous sets such as Roy's Rolls, Underworld factory, and the Rovers Return. Andy captioned the post: "Took @Hollie x in work with me for her work experience. She has been in all the different departments and watched a scene be shot (no spoilers sorry). I actually learnt some new things myself. Really enjoyed showing her how it all comes together by a great team of people!!"

Fans react with amazement

Fans were quick to comment on the video, expressing surprise and admiration. One wrote: "Now this is the Corrie Tour I want." Another said: "This looks fab! What a great experience." Some were surprised by the set's scale, with one noting: "Shocking how small the Rovers set is," and another admitting: "Thought they were real houses they used." A viewer commented: "This was really cool mate!!! Love this behind the scenes, no one could have done it better."
