Sylvester Stallone has shrugged off allegations of misconduct on the set of Tulsa King, sharing a behind-the-scenes video of himself joking with co-stars during filming of the show's second season in Atlanta.
The 77-year-old Rocky actor was accused last month of making cruel remarks about background actors, allegedly calling them 'ugly and fat' alongside director Craig Zisk. Zisk has denied the claims, and Stallone's representatives did not respond to a request for comment.
In the video, Stallone is seen laughing with cast members Garrett Hedlund, Martin Starr and Jay Will, whom he called his 'protegee.' Crew members adjusted his suit as he discussed scenes in an underground location.
The allegations emerged from a now-deleted X post by TV writer Julie Benson, who shared screenshots of a Facebook post claiming Stallone said, 'What the F*** is happening with these F****** ugly background' to Zisk. The post alleged they called extras 'tub of lard' and 'fat guy with cane,' mocking their weight and disabilities.
Casting director Rose Locke resigned from the show, citing a 'clear toxic environment' in an email. Her company, Rose Locke Casting, announced it had parted ways with Tulsa King. Stallone has not publicly commented on the allegations.
