Strictly fans predict Dani Dyer exit after 'death slot' Rumba

Strictly Come Dancing viewers believe they have spotted a tell-tale sign hinting at which celebrity could be next to leave the competition. Icons Week kicked off on Saturday (October 17) night, with the celebrities and their professional partners performing routines to celebrate music's biggest legends and their biggest hits.

John Nellis and Katya Jones opened the show, performing the Paso Doble to It's My Life by Bon Jovi. Dani Dyer and Nikita Kuzmin followed this, with a Rumba to Hero by Mariah Carey.

Viewers spot 'death slot' sign

However, viewers noticed that Dani, 30, had been given what fans have infamously dubbed the dreaded "death slot" – the second performance of the programme, immediately after the opener. Not only this, but she was also given the Rumba, which is widely considered the hardest dance style on the BBC show.

Fans have now expressed concern that the slot and dance choice given to Dani by BBC bosses means she could be the next to go. "What did dani do to deserve a death slot rumba?" asked one viewer as a second declared: "A rumba in the death slot GIRL BYEEE."
