Olivia Attwood's Cheeky Admission in The Heat Episode Two Exclusive
In an exclusive first look at episode two of the new ITV reality series The Heat, host Olivia Attwood, 34, makes a cheeky and humorous confession while aboard a lavish yacht in the Mediterranean Sea. The show, which premiered on Tuesday 24 February, features ten ambitious chefs competing in Barcelona under the guidance of multi-Michelin Star award-winning chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, with cameras capturing both kitchen drama and personal tensions.
Reality Show Twists and Culinary Challenges
The Heat offers a unique twist by filming not only the chefs' professional struggles in the kitchen but also their off-duty moments, where tempers flare, romances ignite, and guaranteed drama unfolds. The first episode introduced viewers to the chefs, who faced a baptism of fire as they balanced a high-pressure first service with flirtatious interactions. In the exclusive preview obtained by the Mirror, Olivia Attwood is seen on a yacht, setting the stage for more explosive content.
During this candid moment, Olivia hilariously asks crew members, "Is my a**e out? I want it to be, I'll get more likes," prompting laughter off-camera. Meanwhile, a teaser clip reveals soaring tensions in the kitchen as two contestants strike up a romance, sparking jealousy with another ambitious chef. Olivia reflects on her role, stating, "Yesterday The Heat opened its doors, the fire was on in the kitchen and later on the team let their hair down but there were sparks there too... Today, a new head chef has to step up and take control. Let's hope there's not too many distractions!"
Olivia's Personal Insights and Reality TV Experience
Ahead of the show's release, Olivia shared her own kitchen habits, describing herself as "a bit Victoria Beckham-coded" and admitting she prefers eating over cooking, though she can manage a decent spaghetti bolognese or roast dinner. She believes people underestimate her abilities, joking, "I think people think that I can't cook at all because I think I'm a bit Carrie Bradshaw-coded, probably like with sweaters in the oven." Given her expertise lies more in emotional dynamics than culinary skills, she leaves cookery advice to co-host Jean-Christophe Novelli.
However, Olivia brings valuable experience from her time on Love Island in 2017, offering contestants a "unique perspective" on being filmed constantly. She recalls, "I was nervous, but I know what it feels like when you go on to a reality show, and you know some things, but you know there's going to be surprises. I think it gives me a unique perspective, which I'm really grateful for." She advises reality show participants to fully embrace the process, saying, "You have to just kind of give yourself to the process. Because you're in it now, so you might as well just jump in with both feet!"
The Heat continues to air, with episode two scheduled for 25th February at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX, promising more fiery competition and personal revelations.
