Nicola Peltz Beckham has secured a high-profile guest role in the latest star-studded series from prolific creator Ryan Murphy. The project, a thriller titled The Beauty, is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the new year.
A Glittering Cast for a High-Stakes Thriller
The series represents Murphy's follow-up to the controversial Kim Kardashian-led drama All's Fair. The Beauty centres on two FBI agents, played by Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall, who are drawn into a dark investigation involving a string of mysterious supermodel deaths.
Their pursuit leads them to Paris and into the orbit of a shadowy tech billionaire, known as 'The Corporation' and portrayed by Ashton Kutcher. He has developed a miracle drug, also called 'The Beauty', which promises physical perfection but carries terrifying side effects. The agents must also contend with his lethal enforcer, 'The Assassin', played by Anthony Ramos.
Star-Studded Guest Appearances Confirmed
Alongside the core cast, the series will feature an impressive roster of guest stars. Nicola Peltz Beckham will be joined by supermodel Bella Hadid, singer Meghan Trainor, and actors including Ben Platt and Billy Eichner in notable cameo roles.
The 11-episode season, co-created by Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, will debut with a triple-bill on 22 January 2025. Subsequently, new episodes will drop every Thursday, with the final two weeks offering two episodes per week to accelerate the climax.
Murphy's Other Project Weathers Critical Storm
The announcement arrives as Murphy's other recent venture, All's Fair, has been surprisingly renewed for a second season despite a brutal critical reception. The legal drama's first season holds a critic score of just 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, though it fared better with audiences, scoring 65%.
Star Sarah Paulson addressed the harsh reviews in a recent interview, emphasising the joy the cast found in making the show. Her comments highlight the often-divisive nature of Murphy's high-profile, celebrity-fronted projects.
The Beauty promises to blend Murphy's signature style with a glamorous, conspiracy-laden plot, aiming to captivate audiences when it lands on Disney+ next year.
