New Expert Bee Harford Joins Antiques Road Trip

BBC's beloved daytime show, Antiques Road Trip, is welcoming a brilliant new face to its expert line-up. Briony 'Bee' Harford, a rising star in the auctioneering world, is set to make her debut on the programme, bringing fresh energy and expertise to the popular series.

A New Expert for the Road

The BBC confirmed that Bee will join the show for a week of episodes starting on Monday, December 1. For her inaugural outing, she has been paired with the experienced and much-loved Road Tripper, Raj Bisram. This dynamic new pairing promises to deliver a week of entertaining and competitive antique hunting.

In a video announcement shared on social media, Bee expressed her sheer delight at joining the cast. She stated, "I am incredibly excited to announce that I will be your new expert for Antiques Road Trip. It is an incredible honour to be part of this fantastic show." She also shared her enthusiasm about working with Raj, calling him an "absolute legend" and anticipating some "stiff competition" along the way.

Who is Briony 'Bee' Harford?

Bee is no stranger to the world of antiques and auctions. Hailed as a 'rising star' in the industry, she was recruited by the prestigious auction house Bonhams. Her career has been marked by significant achievements, including spearheading Bonhams' operations in Yorkshire and the North East in 2021.

In a historic moment, she also became the first woman in four decades to take the rostrum at the renowned Staffordshire Motorcycle Show. BBC audiences may already recognise her from her role on The Travelling Auctioneers, where she will return for its fifth series in 2026.

What to Expect from Bee's Debut

During their week on Antiques Road Trip, Bee and Raj will be scouring antique shops in Dorset, searching for hidden treasures they can turn for a profit at auction. The show's description hints at a compelling dynamic: "Though rivals on paper, Raj takes Bee under his wing for her first outing to show her the Road Trip ropes, offering guidance and a few cheeky tricks of the trade."

The official Antiques Road Trip Instagram account introduced Bee to its followers, who responded with overwhelming support. Comments included well-wishes like "great news, can't wait to see you on TV" and "Look forward to seeing your trip good luck."

This new addition comes as Antiques Road Trip celebrates its 15th year and 31st series, with a 32nd series already commissioned for 2026. Fans can catch Bee's debut on BBC One and iPlayer weekdays at 4:30pm from December 1.
