Durham Constabulary has issued an urgent appeal to locate a missing woman who was last seen leaving her home in the West Auckland area early on Sunday, June 21, barefoot and wearing only her pyjamas.
Details of the disappearance
The woman, identified only as Rachel, is 41 years old and was last spotted at around 12:30am. She is described as 5 feet tall with blonde hair that was tied up at the time of her disappearance. She was believed to be wearing white pyjamas with blue stripes and had no footwear.
Police have taken to social media to spread the word. In a Facebook post, Durham Constabulary wrote: "Have you seen missing woman Rachel? Rachel was last seen leaving her home address in the West Auckland area at around 12.30am this morning (Sunday, June 21)."

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Rachel's whereabouts to contact Durham Police immediately, quoting incident number 17 of June 21. The force is particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a woman matching her description in the early hours.
