Jude Law & Jason Bateman Lead New Netflix Thriller 'Black Rabbit'

Netflix is assembling an A-list dream team for its latest high-concept thriller, Black Rabbit, with acclaimed actors Jude Law and Jason Bateman set to both star in and executive produce the gripping limited series.

The streaming giant has greenlit the project from first-time creator Zack Baylin, the Oscar-nominated writer behind King Richard, and Kate Susman, with production set to begin shortly in New York City.

A Tale of Two Brothers

Law takes centre stage as the owner of a sophisticated New York City hotspot, a man who has meticulously built his life and business into a roaring success. His carefully constructed world is thrown into chaos when his turbulent, long-lost brother (Bateman) suddenly reappears, forcing him to embrace the very chaos he's spent years trying to avoid.

The dynamic between the two powerhouse actors promises to be electric, exploring themes of family loyalty, buried secrets, and the inescapable pull of the past.

Behind the Camera Powerhouse

The project boasts an impressive creative pedigree. Bateman, a Netflix veteran following the monumental success of Ozark, will also step behind the camera to direct the first two episodes. He is producing through his Aggregate Films banner.

Jude Law will produce via his Riff Raff Entertainment, alongside Baylin and Susman's Youngblood Pictures. The series is a co-production between Netflix and the highly-regarded independent studio, Wonderville.

This marks a significant and highly anticipated return to television for Jude Law, adding another major project to Jason Bateman's successful partnership with the streaming platform. With its compelling premise and top-tier talent both in front of and behind the camera, Black Rabbit is already shaping up to be one of Netflix's most exciting releases for 2025.
