Ex Corrie Stars Sons Set To Be Toast Of Hollywood

William Roache, the 94-year-old actor who has played Ken Barlow on Coronation Street since 1960, is not the only successful actor in his family. His real-life sons, Linus and James Roache, have also appeared on the ITV soap, much to the surprise of fans.

Linus Roache, born in 1964, first played Peter Barlow on the show in 1975 at the age of nine. He later returned in 2010 as Ken's long-lost son, Lawrence Cunningham. His younger brother James then played James Cunningham, Lawrence's on-screen son, creating a unique family dynamic on the cobbles.

William Roache has expressed pride in working with his sons, stating that in New York, 'it's all about Linus' and that James is 'just getting started.' Fans were 'floored' to discover the family connection, with one commenting on a fan page: 'Did anyone else know that Ken's real sons were in the soap?'
