Antiques Roadshow Expert Reduced to Tears by Siblings' Pottery Collection

An Antiques Roadshow expert was moved to tears after hearing the story of three siblings from Eastbourne who inherited a large pottery collection following the deaths of their parents within months of each other.

Will Farmer, the show's ceramics specialist, became emotional as Jay, Kyle and Hannah Blackmar presented their collection. Farmer's own mother had also recently passed away, adding to the poignancy of the moment.

The siblings' parents died in quick succession, leaving behind a substantial collection of pottery that the family had gathered over many years. The items were brought to the BBC show for valuation and expert analysis.

Farmer was visibly affected by the siblings' story, describing the collection as 'wonderful' and praising the family's dedication to preserving the pieces. The BBC later issued an apology for any distress caused by the emotional segment.
