Peaky Blinders Star Daryl McCormack Joins Apple TV+ Thriller from Homeland Writer

Daryl McCormack, known for his role as Isaiah Jesus in the BBC's 'Peaky Blinders', has been cast in an upcoming Apple TV+ thriller from Alex Cary, an Emmy-winning writer and former executive producer on 'Homeland'. The Irish actor will star alongside Dakota Fanning and Stellan Skarsgård in the untitled series.

McCormack's recent credits include the film 'Good Luck to You, Leo Grande', which earned him two BAFTA nominations, and upcoming appearances in Netflix's 'Pride and Prejudice' miniseries and 'Wake Up Dead Man'. He has also featured in Apple's 'Bad Sisters' and the BBC's 'The Woman in the Wall'.

The thriller follows Fanning as an undercover Treasury agent infiltrating a multi-billion dollar international conglomerate. She becomes conflicted between her mission and her belief that the heir apparent, played by McCormack, is inherently good and worthy of her love. Skarsgård will portray the current head of the conglomerate, Brandt.
