Netflix Horror Series 'Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen' Has Major Plot Hole Fans Will Definite

Netflix's new horror series 'Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen', from the creators of 'Stranger Things', has left fans puzzled over a significant plot hole. The eight-part show follows bride-to-be Rachel (Camila Morrone) and her fiancé Nicky (Adam DiMarco) as they head to his family's cabin for their wedding. However, a bizarre scene in the first episode involving a mysterious box is never explained.

In the premiere, after Rachel stabs a creepy man in the hand with her car keys at a bar, she and Nicky return to their room. During an intimate moment, she stops and says, 'I have to do the thing.' Nicky then shuts the lid of a box at the foot of the bed, with Rachel heard breathing heavily inside. The scene cuts to them having sex, and the box is never seen or mentioned again for the rest of the series.

Another unexplained element is the frozen custard shop 'Coldies', which appears multiple times but lacks relevance to the plot. Nicky recounts a story about the founder murdering three women, and a 1997 flashback shows Rachel's parents encountering a creepy employee there. A character named Jude is also seen wearing a Coldies shirt, yet the shop's significance remains unresolved.

Fans have been left scratching their heads over these loose ends, with many questioning why the box scene was included if it had no payoff. The Duffer Brothers have not commented on the plot hole, leaving viewers to speculate about its intended meaning.
