Vernon Kay has given fans a glimpse inside his Spanish getaway, while his ex-wife, Tess Daly, also ditched the UK for her own trip to Spain.
It was in May that the Bolton and Stockport-born stars announced their split by sharing a statement on both of their Instagram Stories, with the news coming ahead of the pair marking 23 years of marriage this September.
Tess and Vernon are said to have met in 2001 while working for rival channels, apparently crossing paths at a BBC Christmas party. It was just two years later, in 2003, that they tied the knot at St Mary's Catholic Church in Horwich, near Bolton, Vernon's hometown, and went on to welcome two daughters, Phoebe and Amber.
Statement on Separation
Confirming their separation, their statement read: "After much consideration, and with a deep sense of care and respect for one another, we have made the decision to separate amicably. This has not been an easy choice, but it comes from a place of mutual understanding and a shared desire for what is best for both of us."
The stars added: "We remain great friends and most importantly, fully committed to our roles as loving and supportive parents, which will always be our priority."
Vernon's Tenerife Getaway
Vernon, 52, and Tess, 57, have continued to show their support publicly for one another, while also supporting their daughters, including eldest Phoebe, 21, who has spent months living in New York.
But following his recent time away from his BBC Radio 2 show, Vernon took to Instagram to share how he'd been enjoying some time in Tenerife, staying at the luxury Royal Hideaway Corales Resort.
Sharing a video full of clips from his trip, the TV and radio star wrote on Instagram: "Thank you @royalhideawaycoralesresort for an awesome relaxing few days last week. This hotel is a design wonder. It looks sensational, which is totally appropriate considering the resort facilities and staff. #ad (A fresh juice machine is now on the Christmas list!!!"
He also shared a video of the sunset he captured from the oceanfront property to his Instagram Story and told his followers: "Perfect sunset over @royalhideawaycoralesresort Tenerife!!" Vernon added: "Gutted to be back home [crying laughing emoji]."
Tess's Mallorca Break
Following Vernon's post, Tess took to her own Instagram account and shared her own photos from a visit to Mallorca with a pal. The former Strictly Come Dancing host enjoyed what appeared to be a wellness-focus visit to the Spanish island, as she took part in an outdoor pilates class, and also was seen in the hotel gym.
She was also seen exploring the local sights, before relaxing in the pool, with one photo showing the broadcaster sitting atop of a pink inflatable flamingo. "A little time away to slow down, reset and recharge," Tess captioned her post. "Switching off, and soaking up some sun and sea, and feeling gratitude for quality time with the best of friends."
