Royal expert Omid Scobie has said that while Prince Harry and King Charles III will find a way back to each other, the same cannot be said for Harry and his brother, Prince William.
Scobie's verdict on the brothers
Scobie, who co-authored the 2020 book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, said in an ABC News Studios documentary: "With William, I don't see it will ever change."
He contrasted this with the King, saying: "I think we've seen with Charles things have moved forward and that iciness has thawed out. There's a warmth there."
Kate's role dismissed
The royal author also challenged rumours that Princess Kate could act as a "peacekeeper" between the estranged brothers.
He added: "If I've learned anything over the years from covering them, it's that Kate has very little to do with that relationship between the brothers."
