Prince Harry has been accused of trying to copy his older brother, Prince William, after his latest interview. The Duke of Sussex appeared on a new podcast episode, filmed last week during his visit to the UK. Harry joined Joe Marler's podcast, Joe Marler Will See You Now, to discuss various topics. In it, he revealed his full name, star sign and occupation, and spoke about his two children and his affection towards them.
Royal Fans Draw Parallels
However, some royal fans drew parallels with another royal podcast interview, that of the Prince of Wales. William appeared on Travis and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast and spoke about all things football. The heir revealed that he will head straight to the US if England reaches the World Cup final, adding that the team would be “winning it”. Meanwhile, Harry gave his own prediction about England’s chances in the World Cup, saying: “I think it’s coming home, not going to be easy – never is.”
Social Media Criticism
Now, some royal fans have come out to accuse the duke of copying his older brother. One user said on X: “So my thoughts on Harry's recent 'let's copy my brother' podcast! Spare a thought for the crybaby that is Prince Harry, who at 41 years of age still has issues with being called 'Ginge' at school.” Another one added: “I remember reading something where he was told to be more like Prince William. So Harry had to do a podcast to try to upstage Prince William for appearing on the podcast with Travis Kelce.”
Additional Comments
A third one asked: “You mean the podcast where he tried to copy his brother?” A fourth one opined: “Harry is still desperately trying to play catch-up with Prince William & failing miserably.” A fifth one commented: “William was on a podcast - so Harry has to be too.” A sixth one then said: “Harry is so cringe. He tries to copy William and fails miserably.” Another one blasted: “William does a podcast… Harry is so lame.”
