Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Reportedly Revamping Their Portugal Home
Meghan and Harry Revamp Portugal Property

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly planning an expensive revamp of their Portugal home, according to reports. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have purchased the property in 2023 for approximately £3.6 million. Now, the couple has reportedly hired Soho House to redesign the interior of the Portugal pad, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Location and Proximity to Royal Relatives

The home is situated in a Portuguese resort where Prince Harry's cousin, Princess Eugenie, spends her summers. The royal properties are near Comporta and Melides, about an hour's drive from Lisbon. Little else is known about the Sussexes' Portugal home, which they reportedly bought for holiday use. It remains unclear how frequently they visit.

Soho House Involvement

The Daily Mail noted that Soho House has long offered interior design consultancy for members wishing to recreate the club's aesthetic in their own homes. The report suggests that a touch of Soho will now grace Portugal's Atlantic coast.

Main Residence in Montecito

The Portugal property is not the couple's primary residence. Meghan and Harry, along with their children, have lived in Montecito since 2020. They have no plans to leave their Montecito home, which they purchased for an estimated £11.2 million in July 2020. The estate boasts a swimming pool, tennis courts, a wine cellar, and extensive garden space.
