Lipreader Reveals 'Stop Arguing' Command
In an episode of Channel 5's show Lip-Reading The Royals, expert Nicola Hickling analyzed footage of the brothers, then known as the 'fab four' along with Meghan Markle and Catherine. Hickling claimed Catherine told the brothers to 'stop arguing' as tensions flared.
According to the expert, Prince William then turned to his wife and said 'Let's move.' Hickling also alleged that Meghan could feel the tension and told the pair 'Not today.'
Fractured Relationship Timeline
The relationship between William and Harry began to fracture around the time Harry started dating Meghan Markle. Prince William reportedly raised concerns about the speed of Harry's relationship ahead of the 2018 wedding, according to The Independent.
Tensions escalated further after Harry and Meghan's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021 and the publication of Harry's book Spare in 2023, which contained damaging allegations against the Royal Family.
