Geri Horner warned to steer clear of Meghan and Harry

Geri Horner and her husband Christian have been advised to steer well clear of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, following reports that the Sussexes have been cosying up to UK celebrities ahead of their return to England.

According to the Daily Mail, Meghan and Harry enjoyed a secret lunch with Geri and Christian during their last UK visit. The publication reports that the Sussexes visited the couple at their £9.2million Grade-II listed mansion, located in a former vicarage. The couples are “understood to have discussed what life in the UK looks like” over dinner, after allegedly being in regular contact with each other from across the pond.

Hollywood relationships turned sour

Rumours are now swirling that Harry and Meghan could make a home for themselves in the Cotswolds to rub shoulders with famous neighbours. But the showbiz editor warns that the couple's foray into a Hollywood lifestyle was a flop, with their Netflix shows described as a disaster.

They have reportedly been snubbed by stars like Kris Jenner and Katy Perry, as well as not being invited by George and Amal Clooney to their Albie Awards ceremony, despite having been invited to the royal wedding in 2018. Gwyneth Paltrow failed to invite Meghan to a Goop dinner attended by her old pal Oprah Winfrey, while cracks have appeared in the Sussexes' relationship with David and Victoria Beckham.

Risk of a press storm

Martha Stewart is also said to have encountered Meghan at a dinner party and refused to exchange more than a few words with her. The editor suggests something must be going on behind the scenes to make these celebrities turn their backs on the high-profile couple.

Not only could it all end in disaster, but Geri and Christian risk being dragged into a major press storm they didn't ask for simply by occupying the same sphere as Meghan and Harry, just as Guy Ritchie has by reportedly starting talks with Meghan about her starring in series three of The Gentlemen. The last thing the couple needs is more strain on their relationship, especially after Christian was sacked by Red Bull last year.

So the advice to the pair is to stay clear of Harry and Meghan, even if they do end up becoming their Cotswolds neighbours.
